1. After using the pipette, adjust the pipette range to the maximum value.

2. When there is liquid in the pipette tip, do not place the pipette horizontally or upside down. Prevent liquid from flowing into the pipette to corrode the pipette. Hang the pipette on the pipette holder.

3. If the liquid accidentally enters the pipette, the contaminants should be removed in time.

4. If there is liquid dripping after adding liquid, it means that the pipette leaks or the tip is not inserted. It is recommended to insert the tip tightly. If the liquid is still dripping, it is recommended to replace the pipette.

5. Pipettes that require high temperature disinfection should first check whether the pipette used is suitable for high temperature disinfection before processing.

6. When sucking the liquid, be sure to release the thumb slowly and smoothly. Never let it suddenly loosen, in case the solution is sucked too fast and flush into the pipette to corrode the plunger and cause air leakage.

7. When taking up serum protein solution or organic solvent, a “liquid film” will remain on the inner wall of the tip, and the volume of the second extraction will be larger than the first volume.

8. The removed tip must not be mixed with the new tip to avoid cross-contamination.

9. Select a pipette of the appropriate range and do not use a large-scale pipette to remove small volumes of sample.

10. Regularly perform calibration and maintenance to ensure the precision of pipetting.
